Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP)
Ninety-eight Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) – with over 300 local offices – form a nationwide network of dedicated procurement professionals working to help local businesses compete successfully in the government marketplace. PTACs are the bridge between buyer and supplier, bringing to bear their knowledge of both government contracting and the capabilities of contractors to maximize fast, reliable service to our government with better quality and at lower costs.
The Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) was authorized by Congress in 1985 in an effort to expand the number of businesses capable of participating in the government marketplace. Administered by the Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), the program provides matching funds through cooperative agreements with state and local governments and non-profit organizations for the establishment of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs) to provide procurement assistance.

One of our most successful outreach events is our Supplier Vendor Network Breakfast. Every second Wednesday monthly (and quarterly in Austin) we provide an opportunity for our local, state, and federal small business resource partner time to speak to an audience of 100 small business owners to share their current and upcoming small business bid opportunities. This dynamic networking breakfast provides opportunities for small business owners to highlight their product/services to contractors, suppliers, and vendors. Small Business Procurement advocates from government agencies are invited monthly as guest speakers to provide valuable insights on how to do business with their agency and announce contracting opportunity updates. Everyone is required to register.

I would like to invite you to be a part of this awesome experience.  For details please refer to our website at (go to the Events tab):

We also have the capability to send out bid opportunities to over 3,00 small business owners/ clients.
